Sweet little voice drifting down from the top of bunkbed, "Mama, my leg hurts." I was in the middle of something and didn't answer immediately. After a minute or so, sweet voice continues, "Should I just go to your room and let you make it all better?" Mama's heart melts as I leave everything I'm doing, run to my room while thanking God for the privilege of making it all better. How marvelous to be "Mom"! May your tomorrow be filled with reasons to wonder at God's great plan for you!

Happy Monday !!!

Beautifully written. I couldn't agree more!! So thankful for the privilege of discipling my children.The Lord keeps encouraging me with regard to the primary purpose of education. Education is discipleship. Our culture has made education an idol as the role of parents is increasingly diminished. We are esteeming the wrong things. As homeschool moms, we need to be careful not to fall into the trap of believing that academics are the most important thing. They're not. Busy homeschool mom, if you'l...l trust the Lord by placing Him above all else, you will see that He will do far more in the lives of your children than you ever imagined. More education does not impact the culture apart from the simple nurture and spiritual training that strong parents can impart to their children. We must not lose sight of this truth.

Thankful !!!!

This morning, marks our second birthday this month. Our older daughter turned 12 the past Saturday March 3 :) I am so thankful for her , and my husband turns 35 today. My heart is full of thankfulness for the good and great gifts God has given to us.

A lady that I respect greatly once asked, "Do you ever feel like you must be God's favorite child?" I must admit, there are times I do, for He has showered His blessings upon me exceedingly and abundantly. Great is His Faithfulness! "It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; to declare Your steadfast love in the morning, and Your faithfulness by night." (Psalm 92:1-2)

Blessed be the Lord, for he has wondrously shown his steadfast love to me..." (Psalm 31:21) How marvelous is His steadfast love to us! How great is His grace! How sustaining is His hand! My heart cannot thank Him enough.

!!!!! Madre recibe su carta esta mañana me dio tanto gusto recibirla ... usted me escribio de la manera antigua y yo le respondo de la manera moderna :) y me alegro que este bien ! estaba por llamarle en estos dias tambien :)

es verdad !! digale a Rosy que tiene razon pero es que soy una madre y una esposa muy ocupada y no puedo darme el lujo de estar enfrente de una computadora por horas..... aveces solo paro un rato y entro para escribir algo que salta en mi cabeza y me dan ganas de compartirlo en ese momento .. pero tiene razon! tal vez aqui no necesitan saber tanto de mi como ustedes alla :)

estamos bien gracias a nuestro padre celestial quien cuida muy bien de sus hijos !
Gabrielito ya esta leyendo es muy inteligente :)! Isabella mas tremenda cada dia ! mi Genesis cada dia mas dulce amorosa ;) ya cocina bastante mejor :)

no sabia que Oscar le habia llamado para platicar me alegro que aparte de Dios y yo tenga alguien mas en quien confiar :) y no le conto lo de America por que usted sabe que el no es asi, no le gusta hablar ni bien ni mal de otros gloria a DIOS por eso ! digale a Marcos que yo pensaba como el al principio pero ahora doy tantas gracias a Dios que sea como el es ! que no sea tan bocon o boca floja como dijera usted jajaja.. gracias a su caracter y su testimonio es que recibo buenos comentarios de el y a mi como su espossa si me da gusto escuchar eso :) tiene sus luchas y debilidades como todos pero digale a marcos que el ni la mitad se parece a el jajaja un abrazo a Marcos....

madre Reyna esta mejorcita ahora el Sabado pasado tuve que llevarla al hospital y pase todo el dia alla con ella pero estara mejor con el favor de Dios no se me preeocupe OK ! delo otro todavia no sabemos nada a ciencia cierta mientras tanto solo oremos :)

madre mia tengo que dejar de scribir por ahora pero por favor siga orando nosotros seguimos esperando en la voluntad del Señor la Biblia dice que todo tiene su tiempo y su hora y se que el tiempo del señor es perfecto .

The Lord has really been working on me to accept His peace when there is so much brewing all around me. I need to print this up and keep it ever before my eyes to remind my head of what God is teaching my heart.

“The LORD said to him, “What is that in your hand?” (Exodus 4:2) When God asked this of Moses, the answer was his staff, but I believe that is still a pertinent question for all of us today. What is in your hand? A diaper? An English book? A calculator? A steering wheel? How can God use you today when you give Him full control over that which is in your hand already?


What an amazing, wonderful God that He loves to take the seemingly insignificant things in our hands—and use them greatly to further His kingdom! What is in your hand today?

Great God we serve !!!!

Things are busy around here. I've had a hard time finding quiet moments lately. I'm so thankful that I don't NEED those quiet moments to meditate on God's goodness and love and on all that He has done and is doing. I'm so thankful God is so patient with me, aren't you? He is ever reminding me of things I really should have learned for good long ago. What a great God we serve!!

Mia's 2nd Birthday !!!!

Today is Mia's 2nd Birthday !!! hoy por la gracia de Dios nuestra querida Isabella Mia cumple 2 añitos y estamos muy agradecidos por eso =) es una bendicion esta traviesa muchacita !!!


Isabella is already 2 years old ! Where does the time go? We feel so blessed to have are little princess Mia ! She is talking few words now. She loves to be outside. She climbs everywhere . She loves to be in the swing. she loves to make a mess , and she also loves to sing !! she loves to sing oh ! Holy night ! LAS ESTRELLITAS AND TINTIN ! She loves to play with her purse, mirror, comb, dress up outfits, and tea set. But she also loves playing with cars with her brother, she likes only classics movies her favorites ones are Old yeller, chitty chitty bang bang, sound of music and her very very favorite Seven brides for Seven brothers !! She loves getting her hair done but often pulls her hair accessories out. Her hair is long enough for pigtails now!!! she loves middle brother and big sister =)

Feliz Lunes 2012 !!!!!

1. a stinky bug got into our house yesterday, hitting my daughter Genesis and leaving her all dehydrated . Therefore vomiting and diarrhea, I hope it doesn't stay longer = (... poor girl =) she said; what a way to start the year! =)
   

2. ayer se metio en nuestra casa un apestoso bicho que le pego a mi hija Genesis dejandola con un vomito terrible y una diarrea horrosa =) no se espanten por la palabra diharrea eso es algo normal que le pasa a cualquiera =) ......bueno pues estaba sin fuerza y sin ganas de nada, que le era muy facil empezar mal ! con uno de sus proposito de este año que empezaba precisamente ayer su lectura biblica del año =(
me alegro que aun con todo eso ! pudo hacerlo y continuar esta mañana tambien! Dios es bueno ! oren por ella por favor ( espero que ese bicho no se quede por mas tiempo =) )


es facil desanirmase imediatamente con nuestros propositos y pensando esta mañana en eso pense que : No hay mejor proposito que yo quiera cumplir para este año, que cumplir con el que Dios ya tiene para mi.


~ changing the subject! my husband started working here in Greenville again today! and although we had the day Friday off! and now we do not! the good part is that I have him closer! and he will be eating decent food !!!! =)


~ School will begin again this Thursday!!

"You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart." (Jeremiah 29:13) Praise the Lord that He can be found! He can be known! Even more amazing, He wants us to know Him. May we all grow to know Him more this year as we are "imitators of God" (Ephesians 5:1) before our children and all others that He brings across our paths.

"My mouth is filled with your praise, and with your glory all the day." (Psalm 71:8) As we look back through 2011, what has "filled your mouth with praise" the most this year?

Have you made your New Year resolutions? couple weeks ago, during school I spoke with my kids and I told them , that they had to make 10 resolutions for the upcoming new year my daughter asked me is this count as a school ???? and said I yes !! and than she said why we don't do it together as a family ?? and I thought that was a great idea and we decided to start with some that I would love to share with you all :) ......

1. "Forgiveness - Start the New Year with a Clean Heart" Colossians 3:13

"Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you."


2. "Spend Time with God" Mathew 14:22-23

"Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowd. After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray. When evening came, he was there alone..."

Jesus understood the value of time spent with God in solitude. If you do not currently devote time to being alone with God, make it a New Year's resolution to set aside some period of time to spend with God. So whether you can spend this time in prayer, reading your Bible, journaling, singing a worship song, etc,

3. "Improve Your Physical Health" 1 Corinthians 19:20


"Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body."
Ever considered that God actually wants you to take care of your body? While in context this verse is actually dealing with sexual immorality, the overarching theme is often missed. We ought to honor God with our bodies through everything that we do.

Merry CHRISTmas Isabella! Her name just happens to mean "Christ's birth." That miraculous birth and later His death as our substitute is all our hope! "O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?"

Isabella Camila fue a su reposo este sabado pasado, pasando la mejor de las navidades en la precencia de su Salvador como ella queria! Gracias por sus oraciones !
