y esta noche al salir de la iglesia despues del servicio de la tarde mis hijos y yo fuimos a cenar ...  mi esposo tuvo Que salir fuera de la ciudad y por esa razon tuvimos Que ir solos y Claro Lo extrañamo pero tambien Lo disfrutamos.. tuvimos un tiempo de platica mientras cenabamos y mi hijo mediano me encanta ! el es muy especial y siempre esta lleno de preguntas y algunas veces  hace preguntas  importantes pero por ejemplo esta noche de repente dijo esto !! Mami I wonder por Que Dios nos dio dos ojos dos orejas y una boca ! pienso Que dos ojos para ver mejor dos oidos escuchar muy muy bien y una boca para Que no hablamos mucho ... pero ven aca viejo! cuanta logica hay en Lo que  acabas de decir ... hemos estado hablando  en nuestra casa esta semana acerca de la lengua  y eso vino perfecto para sellar el tema y empezar otro mañana :-)

Benefits of apple cider vinegar !! Happy Tuesday Mom's !!!

Though many people keep apple cider vinegar at home for use in salad dressings and marinades, but it actually has several other uses as well. From household cleaners to beauty products, a.c. vinegar can be used in more ways than you may have imagined.  Check out some of these ideas about how to use this wonderfully versatile vinegar.


  1.Facial Toner  Make your own skin toner with a ratio of 1 part apple cider vinegar to 2 parts water, and use a cotton ball to daub your face with it after cleansing. It’ll tighten up pores, clear blackheads, and help fight acne breakouts as well as helping to heal any acne that has already popped up. Rinse your face with plain water 10 minutes or so after swabbing.


2. Conditioning Rinsefor Hair  Instead of store-bought conditioners that are laden with chemicals, just stir 1 tablespoon of cider vinegar into 1 cup of water, and rinse your hair with it after shampooing. It adds body and shine, and will help de-tangle your hair as well.

3. Bug Bite Soother  Full-strength vinegar swabbed onto bites can alleviate itchiness, and speed healing. Just soak a cotton ball in apple cider vinegar and then press against the bite for about 30 seconds. Repeat every hour or so for itch relief.

4. Tooth Whitener  Dip a cotton swab in full-strength vinegar and use it to wipe your teeth every morning and every night to lighten stains on the enamel. Rinse your mouth with water after swabbing to eliminate the acidic residue.


5. Weight Loss Helper  Apparently, taking 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water every day can assist with weight loss: the acetic acid contained in the vinegar helps your body break down fat, and reduces the triglycerides in your blood.


6. Insomnia Relief  Many people swear that a drink made with hot water, a tablespoon of a.c. vinegar, and honey (to taste) helps them get a more restful night’s sleep. This is another one that isn’t scientifically proven, but experimenting with it could be rather delicious.


 7. Detox  Apple cider vinegar has high levels of potassium, which can have a clarifying, detoxifying effect on the body. Taking apple cider vinegar in water 3 times a day can apparently alleviate the symptoms of sinus infections, allergies, sore throats, and even candida.


 8. HouseholdCleanser  Pour a full cup of apple cider vinegar into your toilet bowl, let it sit for half an hour, then scrub with a brush and flush away. Not only will it clean and disinfect the bowl, your bathroom will smell like apples for days. Use undiluted a.c. vinegar on counter-tops and other surfaces to disinfect them and leave them smelling fresh and apple-y. Dissolve a tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in a spray bottle of water for homemade “Febreeze”: spray it into the air to combat unpleasant odours, or spritz it lightly on furniture to eliminate pet smells.


9. Insect Repellent  Some people swear that the changes in body pH due to daily doses of this vinegar will fend off mosquitoes, but this has yet to be proven scientifically. A 50/50 mixture of cider vinegar and water can be sprayed onto your pets (and their beds) to help repel fleas, and it can also be sprayed around windows and doors to keep ticks out.


10. Garden Help  Full-strengh a.c. vinegar poured onto stubborn weeds will kill them without poisoning the soil around them. You can use a diluted vinegar solution (1:8 ratio of vinegar to water) to raise the acidity in your soil for azaleas and rhododendrons to thrive in, and if you dilute that even further and add some sugar to the mixture, you have home-made plant food. Add a few tablespoons of a.c. vinegar to a gallon of water and then transfer it to a spray bottle; you can use this spray to treat black rot and fungus issues on roses, and to fend off aphids.  If you’re taking apple cider vinegar internally, it’s important that you use the highest quality vinegar available. Organic would be the best option, but if you can’t get your hands on that, then don’t hesitate to shell out a few extra dollars for a good product. For topical uses (like for facial toner), you can use a lower-quality vinegar, and the cheapest products on the market are fine for house-cleaning and gardening purposes.

here are some decorations that I made for my daughters room, I think that I already talked about these but just in case you missed it here is the story again ... my daughter  asked for her birthday a room make over, her birthday already passed and we haven't started working on her room  until this week. But mean while I've been working on decorations,curtins etc..and these are one of the decorations that I made they  are suposed to be hanging in a corner from the ceiling !.... Well the thing is... that they won't be hanging on the ceiling anymore at least not on ours  I chose to make them in these colors because I had certain colors in mine for her room and she was OK with that , but that was my preference not hers.. ( sorry daughter)  anyway   the whole project has changed and now is going to be what she wants it to be ( she really deserve it ! she's such a good daughter )  but now these decorations don't go..

 So I 'm going to give  them away to the first person who asks ! leave your comment and the reason you need it and enclose with your address

ayer nuestro calenario  Marco el segundo campleaños de este año en nuestra familia y es Que en un dia como ayer ala 1:00 am trece años atras  nacio nuestra querida hija Genesis y son los mismos 13 años Que han sido de bendicion tenerla como hija ! ha llenado nuestros dias de amor y alegria y  estamos  muy agradecidos al señor por lo bueno que ha sido con ella durante estos años pero ahora es cuando mas le pedimos Que cuide y guarde de ella en este tiempo de juventud Que cuando este en necesidad de sabiduria la ilumine con Su santa palabra.Nuestro deseo es que se forme en una mujercita integra y dedicada al Señor de corazon y mente. ¡ oh mi Dios Que tu mano este sobre ella hoy y siempre ! es nuestra peticion.

My daughter will be 13th in a couple days  so that means that I'm going to have a teenager at home soon -:) and all she asked was a room makeover she doesn't want pink anymore :(  but changing color means changing furniture and we can't afford  that ..so I just decided to repaint the funiture make some new curtins and some decorations  etc.. .I will be posting pictures later  but today I started by making the curtins from some  old bed sheets and this is what came out ~ this cute tote bag and this beautiful curtins :-)

Not kidding it only took me an hour to do  this  ( the paint & the cover ) I used the same old bed sheets that I used to make  my daughters tote bag  & for the paint used spray paint fast dry !

fun and easy + cute = much better :-)

I made this colorful and yummy jello for the kids of our church today :-) this is perfect for partys fun & easy + delicious :-) I will share the recipe later .... have a wonderful Lords day !!

 

Beautiful Wednesday !!!

aaah ! feeling so much better today ! ready to have few things done ! good morning sweet mama' s  I know many of you are up and already giving so much of your energy to prepare for a day with your family or at work. The act of giving is a beautiful representation of Christ's heart and how he gave so much to us. I love teaching my children how to give.

Calling Dr. Mom!! We seem to be passing around the "miseries" right now... all those winter woes that seem to attack body,heads and chests. ( flu viruses )What have you found to be the best way to rid yourself of those yucky symptoms?

I want to share this also my busy mom's :-)

Alrightey then ... now I know, I know, I know that love is about more than *ahem* physical intimacy. (this is a g-rated page!) Yes, it's about holding hands, dreaming together, having a sense of purpose and a deep, abiding friendship.  But it's also about intimacy. It's so much more important than we often realize, and yet it often is the first thing to go when life is stressful and days are long.  Do you remember WHY you got married? Chances are good that part of the reason was that you couldn't keep your hands off each other :) Remember? My husband and I often talk about a "list" that we made when deciding the pros and cons of getting married at the tender ages of 19 and 21. And you'll never guess what was at the TOP of the list. :)  Yep. And it needs to stay at the top. Physical intimacy is about much more than a simple act. It's a drawing together of souls—it's a precious reminder of the commitment that you made to love and care for each other.  In Corinthians, Paul reminds us not to "deprive" each other. If you doubt the importance of sex in our culture, just take a stroll through the checkout line at WalMart. Sensual images are everywhere—and Paul's admonition was given to help us recognize the importance of protecting this sacred part of the marriage relationship.  So what does that mean? It means I not only get to to take care of my husband, but I get to enjoy him, too! Besides, he's amazing! And I bet you think you husband is amazing, too.  Make sex a priority in your marriage. ♥ You won't regret the time you set aside for just the two of you.

 Good morning, moms! ♥ Today is February 13th. That means that TOMORROW is Valentine's day! What better time than now to talk about marriage, right?  Take a moment this morning and pray—really pray —for your husband. Pray for your marriage. Over the years I have come to see a husband and wife as the first line of defense for the family. The truth is, children are at much greater risk when their parent's marriage fails. Unfortunately, we live in a culture that does not value marriage.  Most marriages these days do not end because of abuse (though many do) ... they end because of simple neglect.  Don't neglect your marriage, busy mom! It's the primary relationship in your home. Nurture it. Set aside time to be together—to dream together, work together, play together. Pursue your husband like you were still dating him—because you are! You're "That Girl!" You're the girl he fell in love with.  Most of the time, it's the simple things that make a good marriage a GREAT one. :) If your husband is with you right now, go tell him you love him. Or if you're like me :) you can send him a text that will make him excited to come home at the end of the day. Texting has become our new love language! :)  One of the life most enduring joys is a happy marriage. Love that man of yours. ♥ Invest in your marriage today.

The fence !!

There once was a little boy who had a bad temper. His father gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost his temper, he must hammer a nail into the fence. The first day the boy had driven 37 nails into the fence. Over the next few weeks as he learned to control his anger, the number of nails hammered daily, gradually dwindled down. He discovered it was easier to hold his temper than to drive those nails into the fence.  Finally the day came when the boy didn’t lose his temper at all. He told his father about it and the father suggested that the boy now pull out one nail for each day that he was able to hold his temper. The days passed and the young boy was finally able to tell his father that all the nails were gone.  The father took his son by the hand and led him to the fence. He said “you have done well, my son, but look at the holes in the fence. The fence will never be the same. When you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one.” You can put a knife in a man and draw it out. It won’t matter how many times you say I’m sorry, the wound is still there. Make sure you control your temper the next time you are tempted to say something you will regret later.  - Author Unknown
